    Competition Details:

    1. Online Radha Krishna Competition

    For Age group 0-2 years

    Considering the age of participants, we have an online competition for children aged 0-2 years.

    Submission Deadline: August 22nd, 2026

    Submission Method: Please submit your entries via drive link that would be provided on WhatsApp Group to registered participants.

    2. Live Radha Krishna Competition

    For Age group 3-5 years

    This competition will be held live on the day of the Janmashtami event.

    Event Date: September 5th, 2026

    Important Points to Consider Before Signing Up:

    1. Participants must dress as Radha, Krishna, or any character related to Krishna’s life.

    2. Judging will be based on creativity, presentation, and adherence to the theme.

    Performances Information

    1. Registration is mandatory for all participants.

    2. Participation is open only to SGS Members.

    3. Registration is open for children aged 6–12 years.

    4. Registration is also open for youth and adults aged 13 years and above.

    5. Open to both male and female participants.

    6. For this year, all group performers must register through their respective choreographers.

    7. Please note that participation requires a commitment to attend 2–3 practice sessions per week. As we get closer to the event, additional practices may be scheduled, and participants are expected to attend.

    8. WhatsApp groups will be created after closing date.

    9. All relevant rules, practice schedules, and information will be shared in the respective groups.

    10. A mandatory audition will be conducted. Date and venue will be announced separately.

    11. Final selection and decisions will be made by Team SGS.

    This competition is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Lord Krishna through creativity, imagination, and artistic expression. We encourage participants of all ages to showcase their talent and bring Krishna’s timeless stories, values, and presence to life through art.

    AGE GROUP: 5–7 YEARS

    Theme: Krishna or Radha – Through Your Imagination
    Medium: No restrictions (Parental guidance permitted)
    Description: Let your imagination bring Krishna or Radha to life in any form. Participants may depict their favorite Leela, attire, or any divine moment.

    This category is designed to encourage creativity, participation, and self-expression amongst our youngest artists.

    AGE GROUP: 8–11 YEARS

    Theme: Makhan Leela OR Gwal Leela
    Medium: Any 2D Art

    Makhan Leela: Depict the playful and mischievous Krishna stealing butter and sharing it with his friends, showcasing his innocence, charm, and joyful nature.
    Gwal Leela: Illustrate young Krishna spending time with his cowherd friends, tending cows, playing games, and spreading happiness in Vrindavan.

    Judges may consider:
    Interpretation of the chosen Leela
    Creativity & Originality
    Storytelling and Expression
    Composition and Use of Colour
    Overall Visual Appeal

    AGE GROUP: 12–18 YEARS

    Theme: Krishna Amongst Us
    Medium: Pencils, crayons, felt pens, markers, or colour pencils (No brushes permitted)

    Description: Imagine Lord Krishna walking amongst us today. How would His teachings, values, and presence inspire individuals and communities in the modern world? Through your artwork, creatively interpret Krishna’s relevance in contemporary society and show how His timeless message continues to guide and inspire us.

    Interpretation of Theme
    Originality of Concept
    Relevance to Contemporary Society
    Artistic Composition
    Effective Use of Medium
    Overall Impact

    AGE GROUP: 19 YEARS & ABOVE

    Theme: Pichwai Art

    Medium: Acrylic Paint on Canvas or Cloth

    Description: Create a Pichwai-inspired artwork featuring Lord Krishna as the central focus. Traditional motifs such as lotuses, cows, peacocks, trees, and floral patterns may be incorporated. A light-coloured background is preferred, with Krishna prominently highlighted in the composition.

    Technical Execution

    Overall Aesthetic Appeal

    We are pleased to invite nominations for the Excellence Awards 2026, which recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our community members and their families. These awards honor excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, sports, the arts, leadership, and other notable accomplishments, while inspiring others to strive for excellence.

    Eligibility

    Academic Excellence

    • Students who have excelled in Calendar Year 2025 and/or the Academic Year ending June 2026 , including achievements such as: PSLE, GCE O Levels, CBSE, GCE A Levels, IB
    • Local Polytechnic Diploma with Merit
    • First Class Honours from a local university or an overseas university ranked among the Top 100 in the Times Higher Education rankings.

    Co-Curricular & National Achievements

    • Students or adults (individually or as team members) who, during the past year:
    • Represented Singapore internationally in sports, games, music, arts, performing arts, debate, science projects, or similar fields; or
    • Received national-level recognition or other outstanding achievements.
